Baby Fever Guide: What to Do at Every Temperature
Baby has a fever! Learn what to do at each temperature level, how to use fever reducers safely, and when to go to the ER.
What is a Fever?
Fever is your body's normal immune response to fight infection. Fever itself isn't harmful—it's a sign that the body is fighting pathogens.
Note: According to pediatric guidelines, infant fever is defined as a rectal temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher.
