"How long has the baby been feeding?", "Did I nurse on the left or right side last time?", "How much did they eat today?" These questions pop up with every feeding session. BebeSnap's feeding tracker lets you manage all feeding records with just one-hand taps.

Why Track Feedings?

Baby feeding records are more than just notes.

Why you need to track:

  • Monitor feeding intervals: Check if baby is eating regularly
  • Track intake: Ensure baby is eating enough each day
  • Find patterns: Discover when baby feeds well or poorly
  • Health check: Sudden decrease in feeding could signal issues

Especially useful when doctors ask "How many times and how much does your baby eat per day?" - you'll have accurate answers ready.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Can I record later if I forgot the start time?
A: Yes, you can modify the time when recording. Tap the time in the record screen and adjust it with the -1h, -10min, -1min, Now, +1min, +10min, and +1h buttons. However, using the real-time timer with the "Finished eating now" button gives more accurate records by auto-filling the current time.

Q: How do I record night feedings?
A: You can open the app to record at night, or enter records in the morning by adjusting the time. The real-time timer lets you record with just one button tap even when drowsy.

Q: What if I mix formula with breast milk?
A: It's best to record breast milk, formula, and pumped milk each separately. That way the statistics automatically calculate your breast milk to formula ratio, and mixed feeding stats are shown separately. You can then review the daily intake graph and average feeding frequency to see how the balance shifts over time.

Q: What should I do if I entered a record wrong?
A: To fix a record, tap it in the feeding list, where you can edit or delete it. The same screen lets you correct the start time with the -1h, -10min, and -1min buttons, add an end time, or adjust the amount in mL if you entered the wrong feeding details.

Q: Does it alert me if feeding intervals are too short or long?
A: The app doesn't push an alert for short or long gaps, but you can check your average feeding interval and time since the last feeding in the daily summary and statistics. AI health reports also provide feeding pattern analysis, helping you spot whether intervals are becoming unusually short or long.
